Cranberry Chutney
Sweet, tart, and fresh cranberry chutney has less added sugar than canned cranberry sauce.

Ingredients
- 3 cups cranberries, fresh, whole
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup orange juice
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 medium green apple, cored and chopped
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1/4 teaspoon garam masala or curry (optional)
- 1/2 cup walnuts, chopped (or pecans)
Directions
- Combine all ingredients in a pot and bring to a boil.
- Cover with a lid and reduce heat to low.
- Simmer for about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Remove from heat and let chutney cool slightly.
- Place in the refrigerator to cool completely.

Serve with yogurt as a snack or dessert.
