  1. Prepare pasta according to directions for al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the oil and butter over medium heat. Add the garlic and cook until fragrant, about 30-60 seconds.
  3. Add tomatoes, salt, pepper, and basil to the skillet. Cook 1-2 minutes.
  4. Add beans and simmer 7-10 minutes until tomatoes have softened.
  5. Add the spinach, reduce heat to low and stir until wilted, about 3-5 minutes.
  6. Add drained pasta to skillet and mix together. Top with cheese and serve warm.
