Pork and Pasta with Green Beans

Ingredients
- 6 ounces pork chops, boneless, sliced into thin strips
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon canola oil
- 1 1/2 cups green beans, fresh and washed
- 2 stalks celery, chopped
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 3 tablespoons water
- 2 teaspoons soy sauce, reduced-sodium
- 4 ounces angel hair pasta, cooked al dente
Directions
- Sprinkle pork chops with salt and pepper.
- In a large skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat. Add pork and cook about 5-7 minutes. Remove from heat and keep warm.
- In the same pan, add the green beans, celery and onion. Cook until just softening, about 4-5 minutes.
- Add the soy sauce, water, and return the pork to the pan. Cook about 2 minutes.
- Add the pasta and toss to combine. Continue cooking until pasta is heated through, about 2 minutes.
Recipe Tips
Use any type of pasta on hand.
Add 4 carrots, sliced thinly, and a bell pepper for added fiber.
Use any type of meat, such as chicken or turkey, in place of pork.
