  1. In a saucepan, cook onions in water until tender.
  2. Add tomatoes, tomato sauce, and seasonings. Simmer about 10 minutes. Set aside
  3. Place chicken in frying pan; top with tomato mixture.
  4. Cook covered for 45 minutes over low heat until chicken is tender.
  5. Uncover and cook an additional 15 minutes to allow sauce to thicken.

Recipe Tips

If you don't have a lid for your frying pan, place a piece of tin foil over it.
