Now that the kitchen is cleaned up and leftovers from the Thanksgiving feast are stored away in the refrigerator, it’s time to start thinking about just what to do with them. Sure, you will probably use the turkey to make a few sandwiches and possibly some soup, maybe even add some to green salads. But what about all of the other leftovers? The mashed potatoes, stuffing, gravy and anything else that wasn’t gobbled up on Thursday? Adding them as sides to a new week of meals can get repetitive which is why we have five recipes to try out using common Thanksgiving leftovers. Being creative with them will give you a new spin on old favorites. Plus, it will cut back on household food waste! Just make sure you use or freeze them within four days for food safety precautions.
