Directions

  1. In a large bowl, combine beef, 1/4 cup soup, breadcrumbs, egg, and onions. Mix completely and shape into 6 oval-shaped patties.
  2. In a skillet over medium high heat, heat oil and brown patties on both sides. Transfer them to a plate.
  3. Add 1/2 cup broth to the pan and scrape up any bits. Add mushrooms and saute them until almost cooked through, about 5 minutes.
  4. Stir in the rest of the broth, gravy, and soup.
  5. Return the patties to the pan and cover with some of the sauce. Cover the pan and simmer for 20-25 minutes.

Recipe Tips

If you don't have leftover gravy, use one packet of dry gravy and increase the broth by 1/2 cup.
