Turkey and Rice Bowls

Ingredients
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- 12 ounces turkey, lean, ground
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 medium green pepper, chopped
- 8 ounces mushrooms, chopped
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 tablespoons white wine vinegar
- 1 tablespoon hot sauce
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon rosemary, dried
- 2 cups brown rice, cooked
Directions
- In a large skillet, heat oil over medium high heat. Add turkey and cook 3 minutes.
- Add onion, pepper, mushrooms, and garlic and cook another 5-7 minutes until turkey cooked through, stirring occasionally.
- In a small bowl, whisk together vinegar, hot sauce, chili powder, and salt.
- Drain fat from skillet and return skillet to heat. Add vinegar mixture and cook until turkey coated, stirring occasionally.
- Serve turkey mixture over brown rice.
Recipe Tips
Serve with steamed broccoli and/or carrots.
Use any ground meat- chicken, beef, or pork.
