Ingredients
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1/4 cup reduced sodium teriyaki sauce
- 1 pound turkey, ground, 85% lean
- 1 cup water chestnuts, chopped (or 1 cup chopped peanuts)
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 6 iceberg lettuce leaves
Directions
- Mix the water, cornstarch, and teriyaki sauce.
- Add meat and water chestnuts.
- Heat oil in a skillet or heavy saucepan over medium high heat. Add meat mixture; stir until cooked through.
- Serve in a lettuce leaf.
