Okra and Greens

Ingredients
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 tablespoons corn oil
- 1 pound spinach, shredded
- 16 oz okra
- 4 chili peppers (finely chopped and crushed)
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 lemon
Directions
- In a large heavy pan sauté onions in oil until golden brown.
- Add all remaining ingredients(except lemon). Simmer over low heat, covered, until greens are tender, about 5-8 minutes.
- Squeeze lemon juice before serving.
Recipe Tips
Use any type of greens in place of spinach, such as kale or collard greens.
