Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 16-ounce can pinto beans
- 2 15-ounce cans tomatoes, diced, undrained
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 teaspoons chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Directions
- Cook the beef and onion in a saucepan on medium until meat is brown and onion is tender, about 10 minutes.
- Add the beans, tomatoes, water, and seasonings.
- Cover and simmer on low heat for 1 hour.
