Green Beans and New Potatoes
This quick and easy side is a great way to include vegetables with your meal.

Ingredients
- 8 small potatoes, washed, peeled, and halved
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 3 1/2 cups green beans, frozen
Directions
- Add potatoes, onion and salt to a large pot and cover with water.
- Bring to a boil over high heat, then reduce to medium. Simmer uncovered until potatoes are tender, about 10-12 minutes.
- Add green beans and heat through, about 2 minutes. Drain and serve.
Recipe Tips
Top with 2 teaspoons lemon or lime juice, or add 1/2 teaspoon chili powder for extra flavor.
