Crockpot Chicken Noodle Soup

The crockpot is a great way to throw some ingredients together and come back later to a full meal. This chicken soup is a classic dish that requires no fuss.

Directions

  1. Add onion, carrots, celery, chicken, broth, water, bay leaf, and pepper to crock pot.
  2. Cook on low for 7 hours (or high for 4 hours).
  3. Remove onion and chicken. Toss the onion and shred the chicken with two forks.
  4. Put chicken back into crock pot and add the noodles. Cook another hour on high or until noodles are cooked.
  5. Serve warm.

Recipe Tips

Use any type of chicken in this recipe, chicken thighs or canned chicken work well.

Use vegetable broth in place of chicken broth, or use 7 cups of water and 1 teaspoon of Italian seasoning.
