Creole Beans

Ingredients
- 2 teaspoons margarine
- 1/2 cup celery, chopped
- 1/2 cup onion, chopped
- 1/2 cup green bell pepper, seeded and chopped
- 1 15-ounce can diced tomatoes
- 1 15-ounce can navy beans, drained
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Directions
- Heat margarine over medium heat. Cook celery, onion and green pepper until tender.
- Add tomatoes with juices. Bring to a boil.
- Add beans, return to a simmer.
- Cover and allow to cook over low heat until juices reduce, about 15 minutes. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.
