Porcupine Sliders

Ingredients
- 1 teaspoon canola oil
- 1/4 cup onion, chopped
- 1/4 cup celery, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 pound turkey, ground
- 1 medium egg, beaten
- 5 tablespoons dried cranberries, chopped
- 1 cup baby spinach, chopped
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup brown rice, cooked
- 6 1-ounce dinner rolls, whole wheat
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Heat canola oil in a medium skillet over medium heat. Add onions, celery and garlic and cook for 5 minutes, or until tender.
- In a medium mixing bowl, combine turkey, egg, cranberries, spinach, worcestershire sauce, peppers, brown rice, and sauteed vegetables. Mix well.
- Shape into 6 patties and place on lined baking sheet. Cook 20-25 minutes.
- Serve on wheat roll.
Recipe Tips
Serve with lettuce, tomato, onion, ketchup and mustard.
Ensure patties reach internal temperature of 165 degrees F.
Serve with salad and steamed vegetable.
