Tomato Mac 'n Turkey

Ingredients
- 1/2 pound turkey, lean, ground
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1/2 cup scallions, chopped
- 1 10.75-ounce can tomato soup, condensed
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 1/2 cups macaroni, cooked al dente
- 1/2 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
Directions
- In a large skillet over medium high heat, cook turkey 7-9 minutes. Drain any grease and return to pan.
- Stir onions, scallions, soup, water, pepper, and garlic into turkey. Continue cooking over medium heat for 5-8 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Stir macaroni into tomato sauce. Top with cheese and cook until it melts. Serve hot.
Recipe Tips
Use any type of ground meat in place of ground turkey.
Add 1 green pepper, 8 ounces mushrooms, and/or 1 14.5-ounce can diced tomatoes for added fiber.
Use any type of pasta, smaller pieces work best for this recipe.
