  1. In slow cooker, combine water, broth, cream of chicken soup, chicken, rice, onion, thyme and pepper.
  2. Cover and cook on low setting for 7-8 hours, or on high for 3 1/2 hours.
  3. Stir in spinach and serve immediately.

Recipe Tips

Use any type of rice in this recipe.  Brown rice is a good substitute for wild rice, but white rice will work also.

Use chicken thighs in place of chicken breasts.

Add 1 pound of sliced mushrooms for extra flavor and vegetables.
