Ingredients

Directions

  1. Mince ginger and garlic. Chop parsley into 1 1/2 inch lengths.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix ginger, garlic and soy sauce. Rub mixture into chicken and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  3. In a large pot, fry chicken on all sides. Add 1/2 cup of water and sugar. Cover and cook on low heat for 45 minutes.
  4. In a small bowl, mix cornstarch and 1/4 cup of water together. Add to the pot with chicken in it. Mix until it thickens.

Serve over brown rice.
