Date Muffins
Dates are naturally sweet, making them a great addition to baking projects when trying to decrease added sugars.

Ingredients
- 2 cups all purpose-flour
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 4 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 medium egg
- 1 cup low fat milk
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1/2 cup dates, chopped
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350ºF. Grease a muffin tin.
- Mix all dry ingredients together. Add wet ingredients and mix well.
- Pour mixture evenly into the muffin tins.
- Bake for 18 minutes.
- Remove from pan and cool.
