Trail Mix Bars
These bars are great to keep on hand for a quick, nutritious snack.

Ingredients
- 3 cups crispy rice cereal
- 3 cups toasted oat cereal
- 1 1/2 cups raisins
- 1/2 cup sunflower seeds or chopped nuts like almonds or peanuts
- 1/2 cup honey
- 2 cups peanut butter, chunky
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions
- Combine dry ingredients in bowl.
- Put honey in a pan over medium high heat and warm until it almost boils. Remove from the heat.
- Add peanut butter and vanilla, stir until peanut butter melts.
- Pour mixture over cereal and mix well.
- Wet your hands (this prevents sticking) and press into a 13x9" pan and cool.
- Cut into bars.
