Chinese Broccoli and Pork
Chinese food made at home can be lower in sodium which helps you manage your heart health. Try this delicious broccoli and pork recipe over rice or with noodles.

Ingredients
- 4 teaspoons low sodium soy sauce
- 1/4 cup cooking wine
- 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1/2 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon canola oil
- 12 ounces pork tenderloin, cut into thin strips
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 inch ginger, grated
- 2 medium onions, sliced
- 2 large carrots, diced
- 2 cups broccoli, chopped
- 1 medium red pepper, sliced
Directions
- Combine first four ingredients in medium bowl. Add pork and let marinate for 15 minutes in the refrigerator.
- Heat oil in large skillet over medium-high heat. Microwave broccoli, covered for 2-3 minutes, until just soft when pierced with a fork. Set aside.
- Remove pork from fridge and add pork to skillet. Toss marinade. Cook 4-5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until browned.
- Add garlic and ginger, stirring constantly for 1 minute.
- Add onion, carrots and peppers. Cook for additional 2-3 minutes.
- Add broccoli and cook until heated through.
- Serve warm.
Recipe Tips
Serve over rice.
Stays in the fridge for up to 4 days.
Season with sesame seeds.
