Angel Cake with Berries
Adding berries to a dessert like this Angel Cake is a way to boost your fiber and nutrient intake. Opt for a smaller slice of cake with extra berries for a lower sugar, but still tasty, sweet treat.

Ingredients
- 1 4-serving package vanilla pudding mix
- 1 1/2 cups non fat milk
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1/2 cake angel food cake
- 1 8-ounce carton frozen whipped topping, thawed
- 1 1/2 cups frozen raspberries
- Cooking Spray
Directions
- Prepare pudding according to mix, but only use 1 1/2 cups non fat milk.
- Whisk together milk, vanilla, and pudding and chill.
- Slice angel food cake into thin strips.
- One hour after chilling pudding, fold half of the whipped topping into it.
- Spray a 9x9 inch dish with cooking spray.
- Place cake slices in the bottom, cover with pudding, then sprinkle with frozen berries.
- Repeat previous step to create 3 layers.
- Spread remaining whipped topping over the 3 layer dessert. Chill until serving.
