Full of Beans Hot Dish
This recipe is rich in flavor and features beans, which are a great source of fiber and plant protein.

Ingredients
- 2 cups great northern beans, cooked
- 1 pound beef, ground, 85% lean
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1/4 cup brown sugar (or regular sugar)
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 2 tablespoons white vinegar
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 15-ounce can beans, kidney, drained and rinsed
- 1 15-ounce can vegetarian beans
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- In a large skillet over medium high heat, cook ground beef and onion until browned. Drain fat from pan.
- Add brown sugar, ketchup, vinegar, pepper, and beans to skillet and mix well.
- Place in casserole dish.
- Bake in oven for 1 hour.
