  1. Using a mortar and pestle (molcajete) or grinder, push the cranberries, orange sections, and apple slices through. Do not over grind as it will create a mush instead of a relish.
  2. Next, add the sugar to your liking. If you want a less sweet relish, add 1/2 cup of sugar. Keep adding more sugar, 1/4 cup at a time until the relish is sweet to liking.
  3. Let the relish sit at room temperature for 45 minutes, or until the sugar dissolves. Store in the refrigerator until ready to serve with your favorite Thanksgiving sides!
