Microwaved Veggie Packed Pasta

Ingredients
- 1/2 lb whole wheat pasta (2 cups)
- 1 can spagetti sauce (15.5 ounces)
- 1 can mixed vegetables
- 1 can chicken
Directions
- Place the pasta in a deep microwave safe bowl. Depending on the size of your bowl, you might need to cook the pasta in 2 rounds to prevent the water from boiling over.
- Add water to the bowl, enough to cover the pasta.
- Microwave on the highest setting for the time directed on the pasta box plus 3 minutes. If your box says to boil for 8 minutes, you will want to microwave the pasta for 11 minutes.
- When the pasta is done cooking, drain the extra water and add in the tomato sauce
- Open the canned vegetables and chicken, and drain the liquid they are stored in. Add both to a another microwave safe bowl.
- Microwave the chicken and vegetables for 2 minutes or until they are warmed through. Mix them with the pasta and serve!
