Instructions
  1. In skillet, heat oil and cook garlic and onions, stirring occasionally, until tender, about 2 minutes.
  2. Add pinto beans, oregano, water, salt and pepper.
  3. Simmer, stirring occasionally, until the beans are heated through, about 4 minutes.
  4. Heat for 2 to 3 minutes on medium heat.

Substitute another type of bean for pinto beans, such as black, kidney, or navy beans.
