Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs, lemon and vanilla. Beat well.
  3. Stir together flour, baking powder and salt in a separate bowl. Blend into sugar mixture. Stir in figs.
  4. Pour into a greased 13 x 9 baking pan. Bake for 25 minutes.
  5. Cool and cut into bars.
