Tuna Apple Salad Pita

Ingredients
- 1 12-ounce can tuna, packed in water
- 2 tablespoons red onion, minced
- 1 apple, cored, chopped
- 1 cup celery, chopped
- 1 cup raisins (optional)
- 5 tablespoons Italian dressing, light
- 2 cups salad greens
- 2 Pita bread, whole wheat (cut in half)
Directions
- In a small bowl, stir together tuna, onion, apple, celery, raisins, and 2 tablespoons of dressing.
- In another bowl, toss together salad greens with remaining dressing.
- Carefully open pita breads and fill with equal amounts of greens and tuna salad.
Recipe Tips
Use your favorite greens, such as romaine, spring mix, or baby spinach.
Don't have Italian dressing? Mix the tuna with 1 tablespoon oil and 2 teaspoons vinegar.
