  1. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add pork chops and cook 2 minutes each side until browned. Transfer to a slow cooker.
  3. Layer onion, red pepper, and mushrooms over pork chops in slow cooker.
  4. In a large bowl, combine remaining ingredients, except for the egg noodles, and mix well. Pour over mixture in slow cooker.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 7-8 hours, until pork is tender.
  6. Serve over noodles.

Recipe Tips

Use any cut of pork- chops (boneless and trimmed) or tenderloin (and shred after 6 hours).

Use chicken in place of pork.

Add spices for extra flavor- 1/2-1 teaspoon each of garlic powder, paprika, and cayenne pepper.
