Taco Salad

Ingredients
- 1 head lettuce, torn into pieces (butter or iceberg)
- 2 tomatoes, chopped
- 1/2 cup green pepper, chopped
- 16 ounces turkey, ground, lean
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 15-ounce can beans, pinto, drained and rinsed
- 3/4 cup salsa
Directions
- Put lettuce in large bowl. Add tomatoes and green pepper.
- Brown meat and onion in fry pan over medium high heat. Drain off fat and liquid.
- Mix meat, beans and salsa. Add to salad mixture.
- Serve with additional salsa. Refrigerate leftovers.
Recipe Tips
Use any type of ground meat in place of turkey, such as beef, chicken, or pork.
