  1. Heat spinach and then drain well.
  2. Heat butter in a skillet and cook onions until brown, about 5 minutes.
  3. Combine spinach and onions in a bowl with bread crumbs and mix well.
  4. Add eggs and mix well.
  5. Heat a skillet over medium heat. Drop 1/3 cup of batter at a time on the skillet. Cook both sides of the cake until lightly browned.
