Southwest Fruit Salsa
Canned fruit cocktail gets a twist with a little onion and pepper! Use this to top chicken, fish, or pork!

Ingredients
- 1 15-ounce can fruit cocktail, drained
- 1/2 cup onion, chopped
- 2 tablespoons lime juice
- 1/2 medium green pepper, seeded and chopped (or 1 medium jalapeno pepper, seeded and chopped)
- 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
Directions
- Put all ingredients in a bowl and mix well. Let stand at room temperature at least 15 minutes, or refrigerate up to 6 hours before serving.
- Serve as an appetizer with tortilla chips or as a topping for grilled chicken, fish, meat, or pork.
