Skillet Beans and Broccoli

Ingredients
- 1 10-ounce package broccoli, frozen (substitute with spinach)
- 1 28-ounce can stewed tomatoes, low sodium
- 1 cup rice, brown, cooked
- 1 15-ounce can beans, white, drained and rinsed
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon oregano or basil (optional)
Directions
- In a medium sauce pot over medium high heat, steam greens in the stewed tomatoes.
- Cook greens 10 to 20 minutes, until they are as soft as you like them. Stir gently.
- Add the rice, canned beans, and seasonings.
- Cook until heated through, another 5 minutes. Serve hot.
