Plum-Good Peanutter bars

  1. Preheat oven to 350ºF and lightly grease a 9×13″ baking pan.
  2. In a bowl, beat together sugar, peanut butter, and butter until creamy.
  3. Add the milk, egg and vanilla. Beat together well.
  4. Combine oats, flour, baking powder and salt in a separate bowl and then blend slowly into the peanut butter mixture.
  5. Stir in dried plums. Press mixture into the pan and bake 24-27 minutes or until golden brown.

Try the same recipe but with other fruits such as dates, raisins, or dried apricots.
