Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. Coat a 8x8 inch pan with cooking spray or oil.
  3. In a medium bowl, combine flour, brown sugar, baking soda, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and bran flakes.
  4. In a separate small bowl combine the milk, eggs, carrot, banana and walnuts.
  5. Add milk mixture to cereal mixture and stir to combine.
  6. Pour mixture into prepared pan.
  7. Bake for 25-35 minutes until lightly browned.
  8. Cut 3 x 4 to make twelve bars. 

Recipe Tips

You can use any type of nut in this recipe.  Toasting the nuts first will add extra flavor and crunch to the bars.
